In today’s blog the ‘Meet the team’ series is returning after a long hiatus! This Q&A involves asking a member of the EWFM team personal questions, about their time with the company and what their role entails. This gives our customers an in-depth sight into how EWFM is run and the people behind it. The next Q&A in this series will be with our latest arrival, Jess Baines.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
I am 24 year old from Hertfordshire. Since 2019 I have worked my way through the customer service and sales departments in several manufacturing industries. In my spare time I like to socialise with friends and family doing various activities and exploring new places. I have a passion for exotic plants and animals meaning I spend a lot of my other time in a variety of garden centres and animal enclosures.
How long have you been at the company:
I joined EWFM back in the middle of May 2023, so just reaching 5 weeks.
What is your current role:
My current role is Sales Executive which is the role I started with when I first joined.
What does a usual day in the office have in store for you as Sales Executive:
A usual day for me will consist of supporting our sales department with incoming customer enquiries and processing new orders from existing and new customers. Sending across daily quotations, speaking to customers and suppliers to ensure all new and ongoing orders are running smoothly and operating in a timely manner. Additional to this fast paced and well rewarding responsibilities, I will also be finding myself reaching out to our suppliers and new potential business partnerships by travelling worldwide to meet and uphold customer satisfaction.
What is your favourite product and why:
Although I am still settling in, I am personally proud of all our large range of products we supply for the various applications and projects we can support. It is comforting to know there will always be something we can support our customers with. However, I personally would say our range of Swivel Joints. I have found they are a great and massively important part to this industry and have been intrigued to learn the important part they play in helping any applications process become more safer, durable, and easier.
Finally, tell us about your experience of working at EWFM so far:
So far my experience at EWFM has been the most welcoming and supporting business I have joined from a very early start. Day-to-day our team works together to ensure we are all reaching our personal and team goals. Between the busy scheduled we still find time to make our day feel enjoyable and positive, an environment that not only encourages you to want to come to work but also want to thrive.
