Last month, the EWFM sales team weren’t just attending the StocExpo in Rotterdam – they were award winners! Whilst we weren’t exhibiting as a company this year, StocExpo, a major hub for the tank storage and energy infrastructure industry, provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with existing and new customers.
But the real highlight was in the form of awards, where members of the EWFM team were recognised for their outstanding achievements from the previous year.
In today’s blog, we’ll delve into the exciting details of the awards ceremony, showcasing the categories EWFM was nominated in and the prestigious awards we brought home!
About the awards at StocExpo:
Every year at StocExpo, an awards evening called The Global Tank Storage Awards is held in the city of Rotterdam. Since it beginnings in 2017, the awards not only recognise Terminal achievements but also the individuals that help put their companies where they are today. The awards include:
- Emerging Technology
- Industry Game Changer
- Project of the Year
- Outstanding Achievement Award
- Rising Star Award
EWFMs Award-Winning Performance at StocExpo:
Last year, EWFM’s Managing Director, Guy Curtis, wasn’t just nominated for the prestigious StocExpo Rising Star Award – he won it! This award recognises individuals who are already driving success within their companies and have the potential to become key figures in the tank storage industry’s future. In addition, Guy was named in the “Forty under 40” list, solidifying his position as a rising star.
Fast forward to 2024, and EWFM continued its award-winning streak. Our Marketing Executive, Ben, received a well-deserved nomination for the Rising Star Award, highlighting his hard work and dedication since joining the company in 2021. Whilst he didn’t take home the top prize this year, the nomination is a testament to his contributions at EWFM.
Both Guy and Ben were recognised again in 2024, being named on the esteemed “Forty under 40” list. This award identifies individuals with the potential to become industry leaders in the tank storage and future fuels sector. This marks Guy’s second consecutive year on the list, and Ben’s first inclusion.
This is a fantastic moment to celebrate their well-deserved recognition on the prestigious Forty Under 40 list. Their talent, dedication, innovative spirit, and their contributions have been instrumental in propelling the company forward.
However, let’s not forget the incredible team behind them. Every individual here plays a vital role in our collective success. Ben and Guy wouldn’t be receiving this recognition without the tireless efforts, collaboration, and support of everyone at EWFM. This award is a testament not only to their individual brilliance but also to the strength and synergy of our entire team.
