Double Range Top Loading / Unloading Arm | Model 2503-BC

The Double Range Top Loading / Unloading Arm is designed for road tanker and rail car applications, allowing transfer from either a top or side connection point. The arm can be configured for loading or unloading, so please specify your requirements when enquiring. Its design makes it particularly suitable for chemical applications where a flange connection is required. As this arm does not include vapour recovery or space for vapour to escape, it should only be used with tankers that have a separate vapour recovery point, which is often located at the bottom of the tanker for connection with a flexible hose.

The arm features five swivel joints, providing full horizontal and vertical rotation, with a spring-balanced cylinder to ensure smooth and controlled movement for the operator. A ball valve is installed for reliable product flow control, and a TTMA safety breakaway coupling helps prevent damage and spillage if the vehicle moves during loading or unloading. Mating connections are typically made via a loose flange, although threaded or dry break couplings are available on request.

This Double Range Top Loading / Unloading Arm can be mounted on a site or gantry structure, and mounting plates are available if required, providing a flexible solution for various chemical transfer operations.
