Fixed Reach Chemical Top Loading Arm – Model 2385

Model 2385 fixed reach chemical top loading arm is used for top filling rail cars and road tankers, where the manhole fill point is at a set position each time for loading. The 2385 uses a range of our standard swivel joints dependant on the requirement. This top loading arm design includes, three swivel joints for horizontal and vertical positioning, a compression spring balance cylinder for ease of movement, loading valve with either hold-open or stay-open operation, extension/remote control for outboard loading valve operation, fitted with a vacuum breaker to allow fast drainage. Lastly, the Model 622-BC fixed reach top loading arm can be manufactured in right or left hand configuration, please advise your requirement with your enquiry.

Furthermore this chemical arm is made as standard in Stainless Steel with a range of seals to suit most medias. More exotic materials are also available on request. Please note that this is a fixed reach chemical top loading arm therefore the tanker and rail car must always be roughly a set distance away from the loading arm for it to work efficiently. It is likely that this will only be able to reach one fill point. However, our variable reach loading arms can often reach multiple fill points without having to move the tanker.
