Fixed Reach Chemical Top Loading Arm | Model 2385

The Model 2385 Fixed Reach Chemical Top Loading Arm is designed for top filling road tankers and rail cars where the manhole fill point is at a fixed position. The arm uses a range of standard swivel joints, depending on operational requirements.

It features three swivel joints for horizontal and vertical movement, a compression spring balance cylinder for smooth operation, and a loading valve with hold-open or stay-open functionality. An extension or remote control is available for the outboard valve, and a vacuum breaker allows fast and efficient drainage. The arm can be manufactured in right- or left-hand configuration; please specify your preference when enquiring.

The Model 2385 Fixed Reach Chemical Top Loading Arm is made as standard in stainless steel and can be fitted with a range of seals to suit most media. Alternative or exotic materials are available on request.

As a fixed reach loading arm, the vehicle must always be positioned at a set distance for efficient operation. Typically, the arm will reach only a single fill point. For applications requiring multiple fill points without repositioning the tanker, our variable reach loading arms are recommended.
