Fixed Reach Food Duty Top Loading Arm | Model 2385

The Model 2385 Fixed Reach Food Duty Top Loading Arm is designed for top filling rail cars, road tankers, IBCs and more where the fill point is at a fixed position. This model uses food-grade swivel joints, selected to suit the client’s specific requirements.

The Model 2385 Fixed Reach Food Duty Top Loading Arm features three swivel joints for horizontal and vertical positioning, a compression spring balance cylinder for smooth movement, and a loading valve with either hold-open or stay-open operation. An extension or remote control is included for outboard valve operation, and a vacuum breaker is fitted to enable rapid drainage. The arm can be supplied in either right- or left-hand configuration – please specify your requirement when making an enquiry.

As a fixed reach loading arm, the tanker or rail car must remain at a set distance from the arm for efficient operation. It is generally able to reach only one fill point. For applications requiring access to multiple compartments without repositioning, variable reach loading arms are recommended.
