It’s now three weeks since ChemUK 2025 opened its doors, and the event once again proved to be a key date in the industry calendar. Taking place on 21st and 22nd May, the exhibition brought together a wide range of exhibitors and speakers from across the globe, contributing to a record turnout for the show.As the UK’s largest B2B event for the chemicals, process engineering, and formulated products sectors, ChemUK continues to offer a valuable platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and showcasing the latest developments across the industry. In this blog, we’re taking a brief look back at the event, including EWFM’s time at the exhibition and a few thoughts from members of our team who were on the stand across the two days.
ChemUK 2025 Recap: Bigger Venue, Stronger Engagement
This year, ChemUK relocated to the NEC’s largest hall, a move prompted by the momentum and success of the 2024 event. The expanded space made room for two new dedicated zones: the Chemical Laboratory Show Zone and the Formulated Product Manufacture Zone. In total, the exhibition was spread across fived industry-focused zones, bringing together 550 exhibitors read to engage with attendees. The show attracted a record footfall of over 7,500 visitors across the two days – the highest attendance in its history. Alongside the exhibition, an extensive and well-curated speaker programme explored both current challenges and future directions for the sector. With over 100 expert-led sessions, the agenda featured keynote presentations, panel discussions, and specialist talks, offering valuable insight across a wide range of topics.
EWFM’s Experience at ChemUK 2025
It was another successful showing for the EWFM team on Stand H10. Across both days, we welcomed a stream of visitors, many of whom were particularly interested in the IBC Filling Loading Arm we had on display. Events like ChemUK offer a valuable opportunity to present our equipment in person, particularly for customer who many not otherwise have the chance to see this type of engineering up close. In addition to the attention our Loading Arm received, there was strong interest in our Filling and Emptying solutions, including Drum Filling and Emptying Heads, as well as our range of Engineered Delivery Nozzles. These products attracted companies looking to optimise the way they handle the filling and emptying of drums, IBCs, and similar containers.

Adding a bit of fun to the stand this year, we also ran our popular Crack the Code challenge. Inside the locked box were seven bottles of champagne, and visitors were invited to test their logic (and luck) to crack the code that had either a meaning to the show or the company. The challenge proved a great way to engage with both visitors and fellow exhibitors, by the end of the show, four lucky winners walked away with a bottle each.

Here are some thoughts from some of the team on the stand:
Guy: “It was a pleasure to attend ChemUK for the second year running! Our marketing team secured a fantastic spot near the front, and the footfall was excellent throughout the event. We were proud to showcase a larger stand than last year and we’re already planning to go even bigger and better for next year. This year’s show brought a record number of leads from a wide range of new customers, and it was equally rewarding to reconnect with existing clients and industry friends.”Mike: “I felt there was an impressive atmosphere throughout both days with a constant flow of customers visiting our stand and around the arena. It was great to make so many new contacts, whilst seeing so many familiar faces in attendance. The variety in the companies exhibiting, meant there was something for everyone at the show, and made for a really enjoyable few days I can’t wait until next year.”Natt: “ChemUK was a brilliant couple of days, a great chance to catch up with existing customers and manufacturers we work closely with, and to strengthen those relationships face-to-face. We also had some really engaging conversations with new contacts, and it’s exciting to see the level of interest in what we do. There’s definitely lots of potential to explore, and I’m looking forward to following up on all the new opportunities!”Ben: “It was fantastic to welcome so many visitors to our stand throughout the event. Once again, the show was well organised, creating the perfect environment for important conversations and new connections. There was a real buzz around our Crack the Code challenge too, it was great to see so many people getting involved and having a bit of fun while visiting the stand.”Thank you to everyone who visited the team at Stand H10. It was a pleasure to meet so many new faces, as well as reconnect with existing customers, and to discuss how EWFM can support your current and future requirements. We’re already looking ahead to next year’s event, having officially signed up to exhibit for the third year running. ChemUK 2026 will once again take place in the same hall at the NEC, on 20th and 21st May, we look forward to seeing you there.
