Designed for hot refueling, the G457 handles pressures up to 7.5 bar and temperatures down to –30 °C. It features automatic and manual shut-off, anti-froth device, fuel-resistant Buna-N splashguard, 100-mesh strainer, and integrated swivel for enhanced control. Flow rates range from 37.7 L/min to 340 L/min. Custom spouts, BSP or NPT inlets, and adjustable ground cable lengths provide flexibility for diverse operational requirements.
The Model G457 Hot Refuelling Nozzle is designed for safe helicopter refueling while rotors remain in motion. It was originally developed for a NATO partner to support fast, time-sensitive operations. The nozzle prevents fuel from entering the air intake, reducing human error during hot refueling.
The G457 features an automatic shut-off that stops fuel flow when the tank is full, minimising spillages. A manual override allows operators to fill tanks completely when extended flight is needed. It handles pressures up to 7.5 bar and operates at temperatures down to –30°C. High-level shut-off works at flow rates as low as 37.7 litres per minute (10 US gallons). Maximum flow rate reaches 340 litres per minute (74 US gallons).
Other features include an anti-froth device, fuel-resistant Buna-N splashguard, and 100-mesh inlet strainer. The Model G457 Hot Refuelling Nozzle has a black anodised finish for all-weather protection. An integrated swivel on the inlet improves handling and control during refueling.
Custom options include spout configurations, female BSP (ISO) or female NPT inlets, and adjustable ground cable lengths for flexibility.
