Bottom Loading Arm Rigid Tube | Model 750-SPC

The Model 750–SPC Bottom Loading Arm Rigid Tube is designed for tank truck loading through an API coupler in full compliance with API RP 1004. Unlike the flexible hose versions in the 750 range, this model utilises a rigid tube construction, making it highly durable and less susceptible to damage. It is particularly suited to harsh hydrocarbon service, where robustness, longevity, and reduced maintenance are essential.

The standard design incorporates four Swivel Joints, with two dedicated to horizontal movement and two to vertical movement, ensuring smooth and controlled operation. Constructed primarily in carbon steel to handle hydrocarbon transfer, the arm can also be manufactured in alternative materials on request to meet specific process requirements. For ease of use, the drop tube is fitted with a steering handle, enabling operators to maintain full control when positioning the arm to the tanker connection.

A key feature of the Model 750–SPC is the inclusion of a lightweight offset swivel joint at the bottom of the drop tube, which enhances flexibility by supporting vertical movement while maintaining a rigid, durable design. This configuration provides reliable performance for repetitive loading operations.

It is important to note that this model is a fixed-reach loading arm, meaning the road tanker or railcar must be positioned within a set distance for the system to operate effectively. Typically, the 750–SPC will reach only a single fill point. For applications requiring access to multiple fill points without vehicle repositioning, the Long-Range Bottom Loading Arm is the recommended alternative.
