Engineered for safe ammonia transfer, these couplings combine a hose unit and a tank unit with integrated valves to prevent leakage. Suitable for pressurised or refrigerated ammonia, they provide precise, reliable flow control, safeguarding personnel and the environment. Optional features such as colour coding, locking devices, dust caps, and specialised handles enhance usability and operational safety.
Ammonia Couplings are purpose-built to provide a safe and reliable connection for loading and unloading ammonia gas. This colourless gas is commonly transported as a pressurised or refrigerated liquid in rail and road tankers, making secure and leak-free transfer essential for both operational safety and environmental protection.
The system consists of two main components: the hose unit and the tank unit. The hose unit connects to the transfer hose and features a valve that opens upon connection, allowing controlled flow of ammonia. The tank unit is mounted on the storage tank or pipeline and incorporates a valve mechanism that prevents any leakage when the hose is disconnected. Together, these components ensure safe, efficient, and precise handling of ammonia.
To further enhance safety and usability of the Ammonia Couplings, a range of optional accessories can be added. These include colour coding, locking devices, dust caps, and specially designed handles, providing added convenience and protection tailored to your operational requirements.
