Ammonia Breakaway Couplings

Ammonia Breakaway Couplings are specifically engineered to provide critical protection during ammonia transfer operations, guarding against accidental pull-away incidents that could lead to spills, environmental damage, or injury. Designed for reliability in demanding conditions, these couplings instantly and safely separate the hose from the tank or pipeline when excessive force is applied, immediately halting ammonia flow.

Two options are available: Breaking Pin and Cable Release. The Breaking Pin version features pins with calculated weak points that break under a set force, while the Cable Release version uses a cable to release the locking bolts, allowing rapid separation of the coupling and closure of the valves. Both designs ensure minimal product loss and reduce exposure risks for personnel.

Constructed from materials fully compatible with ammonia, these  offer excellent resistance to corrosion and long-term durability.
