About loading arm signal switches
Loading Arm Signal Switches ensure the arm is not in use when no operators are nearby. EWFM offers six different switches, each designed for a specific purpose.
These switches monitor arm position, fluid flow, and pressure to indicate the status during transfer. They help operators keep the arm correctly aligned, securely connected, and operating safely.
For example, our overfill prevention switch uses a sensor on the arm to automatically stop flow when the receiving tank, truck, railcar, or IBC nears capacity.
