Designed for top and bottom loading arms, Overfill Prevention Devices include the 2794 Pneumatic Overflow Alarm and 3013 Pneumatic Overflow Shut-Off. The 2794 alerts operators via a sensing tube and electric contact, while the 3013 automatically closes the loading valve upon liquid contact. Both ensure safe, efficient loading by minimising overfilling, spills, and operational risks.
Overfill Prevention Devices are designed for safe and reliable operation on both top and bottom loading arms during the filling process. These systems prevent spills, protect operators, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Two models of the Overfill Prevention Devices are available: the 2794 Pneumatic Overflow Alarm and the 3013 Pneumatic Overflow Shut-Off.
The 2794 Pneumatic Overflow Alarm uses a sensing tube installed on the drop pipe, with the depth specified by the client. When the tube is submerged, back-pressure activates an electric contact to alert operators. It operates at a pressure of 3–5 bar with an air consumption of 1.5 nl/min.
The 3013 Pneumatic Overflow Shut-Off works similarly but automatically closes the pneumatically operated loading valve via a spring-return actuator when the sensing tube is submerged. A microswitch can also be used to trigger this operation for added safety.
Both devices provide reliable protection during loading operations, minimising overfilling and spillage while maintaining efficient workflow.
