The Primary Mini Shoe Seal (MSH) is designed for floating internal roofs where rim space is restricted, delivering reliable vapour containment and minimal product loss. Lightweight yet robust, it mounts directly to the roof side wall, ensuring consistent sealing even in spaces as small as 2″. Compatible with crude, refined, and chemical products, it supports safe, long-lasting tank operation.

The Primary Mini Shoe Seal (MSH) is specifically engineered for floating internal roofs where rim space is limited. It delivers the same high level of durability and vapour sealing as the full-sized primary mechanical scissor shoe seal, but is tailored to operate effectively in narrow spaces between the tank wall and the floating roof. Its innovative suspended mounting design allows the mini shoe to be fixed directly to the side wall of the roof, maintaining performance even in rim spaces as small as 2″.
Constructed from lightweight galvanized steel or stainless steel, the Mini Shoe Seal combines strength with excellent corrosion resistance. Each unit is custom-designed for its intended application and engineered for rapid field installation. With a wide selection of metallic and non-metallic materials available, the Primary Mini Shoe Seal (MSH) is compatible with virtually all crude, refined, and chemical products stored in floating roof tanks.
