Description
Marine Breakaway Couplings prevent pull-away accidents, protect terminal and loading/unloading equipment, and eliminate unwanted product release in marine operations. Designed to release only under inline pull, these couplings are installed between two hose strings, with both ends connected to hose, making them suitable for ship-to-ship transfers and ship-to-offshore platform applications.
The couplings feature the same reliable internal mechanism as Industrial Breakaway Couplings, with additional external reinforcements to resist torsional and bending forces in marine environments. This prevents premature activation and ensures consistent safety performance.
These Breakaway Couplings are easy to operate and reset on-site with minimal tools and training. They provide high flow rates with low pressure drop for efficient operations. Stainless steel break bolts deliver enhanced corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting durability in harsh marine conditions.
