Description

The Long-Range Bottom Loading Arm (Model 750–LR) with Unsupported Boom is designed for operations requiring extended reach. Similar to the Model 750/740, this arm incorporates a composite hose, providing slight flexibility and range to access the desired filling points. Colour-coded hose covers can be supplied if required to differentiate between fluid types. Unlike the Model 750/740, the 750–LR includes five swivel joints – three for horizontal movement and two for vertical movement – ensuring smooth and precise operation. A steering handle is fitted to the final elbow, allowing operators to maintain control when positioning the arm to the mating tanker.

Typically used for hydrocarbon transfer, the arm is constructed with carbon steel piping and swivel joints, although other materials can be supplied upon request to suit specific operational requirements. The configuration of the five swivel joints allows operators to reach multiple fill points efficiently, while the composite hose ensures flexibility and durability in daily operations.

As standard, the Model 750–LR is fitted with an API female coupler for quick and reliable connections to tankers in accordance with API RP 1004. Alternative couplings, including dry disconnect systems, can be supplied if required.

For applications requiring vapour recovery, the arm can be modified with specialised seal systems and a vapour coupling, making it suitable as the final arm in a loading bay to recover vapours and reduce emissions.
