Description

The Loading Arm Rotational Switch provides accurate position feedback by indicating which side of the gantry is in use during the filling process. It is installed directly on the loading arm and works in conjunction with stop lugs fitted to the swing joint and fixed flange. These stop lugs limit the rotation angle, preventing twisting and protecting cables incorporated into the loading arm design. The switch is compatible with both top and bottom loading arms, enhancing safety and operational control.

Optional configurations are available for loading arms equipped with electrical components to signal multiple positions or conditions. Signals can be transmitted via electro-mechanical microswitches or proximity switches, both ATEX-certified for use in hazardous areas.

Robust and reliable, the Loading Arm Rotational Switch helps prevent mechanical damage, ensures accurate operation, and supports safe and efficient liquid or gas transfer.
