Description

Industrial Breakaway Couplings are installed on loading arms and hose assemblies, typically where one side is connected to a fixed point. They are designed to prevent pull-away accidents, protect terminal and loading/unloading equipment, and eliminate unintended product release.

Each coupling features a controlled breaking point that separates at a predetermined load. When this occurs, internal valves automatically close on both sides, immediately stopping flow. This action minimises downtime, protects equipment, reduces product loss, and safeguards the environment.

A key advantage of these Couplings is their independent operation via built-in shut-off safety systems, requiring no external power source. They are also simple to reset on site by a single person with minimal tools and training. Additionally, Industrial Breakaway Couplings offer high flow rates with low pressure drop, ensuring efficient operation without compromising safety.
