EWFM API Couplers are essential couplers for the process of bottom loading tankers and railcars. Manufactured in accordance with AP1 RP1004, the API coupler connects to the mating API male adaptor of the transport vehicle with the female connector used on majority of our bottom loading arms.
There are two variations of the Coupler, the liquid, and the vapour phase. The coupler is easy to use as it is simply operated with a push and pull of a lever to open and close the valve. A full flow will only be achieved when there is a full connection between a vehicle and with the safety lugs engaged.
