It’s Q&A time! but this time around it has a Christmas twist to it. In the past few months Q&A with a member of the EWFM team. This month we interviewed the Marketing and Admin Assistant, Anne Jones.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
Well, I would like to say that I’m tall, blond, and fit but my brief was to be honest! So, I am short, blondish and I keep fit by doing yoga, Pilates and going for walks. I live in the North Hertfordshire countryside in a lovely village and have access to lots of footpaths without having to get in the car. I like cooking and trying out new recipes but equally enjoy eating out; be it at a friend’s house, the local pub, or a funky new restaurant, hence the need to keep fit. Gardening is also a great love of mine, whether it’s pottering in my small garden or visiting RHS and National Trust properties. I love to travel and have attended exhibitions as far afield as Brazil, but at the moment I have to make do with shipping our goods all around the world instead.
How long have you been at the company?
I have been with EWFM just over 12 years. I was also with them when it was part of the Syltone Group before the Management buyout, so I have been in the industry for some time.
What is your current role?
I have held a number of roles in the company and currently I am involved with the marketing team and also sending out goods to our lovely customers.
What is your favourite product and why?
I do like a Swivel Joint, probably because I love dancing and it reminds me of swivelling around the room and watching Strictly Come Dancing.
What is the best element of a Christmas Dinner?
I think the best element of a Christmas dinner is the company – family and friends.
What is the greatest Christmas song in your opinion?
As I go back quite a long way, it has to be White Christmas by Bing Crosby. Quite partial to a Rap version too.
Finally, what is your favourite part of Christmas?
I like to go out for long walks (hopefully in the snow), come home and put my feet up in front of a roaring fire whilst enjoying a glass of red wine.
