Long Range Top Loading Arm Unsupported Boom | Model 2239-UB

The Long-Range Top Loading Arm with Unsupported Boom is designed for installations where there is no existing steelwork available for support. To accommodate the additional stresses created in such applications, this model incorporates a heavy-duty base swivel joint, providing the necessary stability and durability to handle the increased load. The horizontal boom assembly delivers a wide range of operation, enabling multiple truck or railcar compartments to be filled efficiently without the need to reposition the vehicle.

These arms are equipped with four swivel joints that allow for smooth movement on both vertical and horizontal planes, ensuring maximum flexibility and ease of handling. It is supplied with three swivel joints and a swivel elbow, with the elbow featuring two handles to enable operators to manoeuvre the loading arm precisely and with minimal effort into the tanker connection.

For improved functionality, the loading arm is designed with a compression spring balance cylinder to provide smooth counterbalancing and ease of movement. It can be supplied with a loading valve that offers either hold-open or stay-open operation and is available with extension or remote control options for outboard valve handling. A vacuum breaker is included to allow rapid and effective drainage after use.

The Model 2239-UB Long-Range Top Loading Arm with Unsupported Boom can also be manufactured in both right-hand and left-hand configurations, ensuring it can be tailored to meet site-specific layouts and operational requirements.
