These Hydrogen Breakaway Couplings automatically disconnect when excessive force or tension is applied, preventing hazardous leaks and ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and the environment.
Available in two configurations, Breaking Pin and Cable Release, these couplings provide flexible safety solutions. The Breaking Pin model uses shear pins that fracture under a predetermined force, immediately stopping hydrogen flow, making it ideal for scenarios involving unexpected pulls or strain, such as vehicle or equipment movement.
The Cable Release model operates via a tensioned cable that triggers controlled disconnection, offering precise release where operator control and planned disconnection are required. Both designs are engineered from materials compatible with hydrogen, ensuring durability and long-term reliability in demanding industrial applications.
