The Tanker Folding Platform offers a reliable, ATEX-approved means of bridging the gap between loading bays and tankers, ensuring safe operator movement when tanker heights vary little. Built from robust mild steel with a hot-dip galvanised finish and anti-slip aluminium treads, it withstands harsh environments while minimising slip risks. Manually operated for simplicity, it delivers long-term, low-maintenance performance.
The Tanker Folding Platform is designed to provide a safe, efficient way for operators to move between a gantry and the top of a tanker, especially where there is little variation in tanker height. Also known as Bridging Access Platforms, these units create a secure bridge between loading bays and tankers during loading and unloading operations.
Manufactured from robust mild steel with a hot-dip galvanised finish, the Tanker Folding Platform is built to withstand demanding industrial environments. This corrosion-resistant coating ensures long-term performance even in harsh conditions such as warehouses, factories, and sites exposed to chemical or corrosive elements.
Manually operated for simplicity and reliability, each platform is fitted with anti-slip aluminium treads to improve safety and stability for personnel. All of our folding platforms are also ATEX-approved, meeting stringent safety standards for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
