Manufactured to API RP1004 standards, the 4” API Vapour Coupler connects securely to a tanker’s male vapour adaptor, ensuring safe and efficient vapour handling. Constructed from anodised aluminium with brass locking cams, it features a TTMA flange and integrated check valve, sealing when disconnected. Lightweight, durable, and easy to maintain, it is ideal for frequent hydrocarbon vapour loading operations.

Description

API Vapour Couplers are designed for road tanker bottom loading systems and manufactured in accordance with API RP1004. This coupler connects directly to a tank truck’s male vapour adaptor, ensuring safe and efficient vapour handling during loading operations.

Equipped with a TTMA flange and an integrated check valve, the coupler remains sealed when not connected to a tanker. The two-part cam-and-groove locking system is engaged via levers on either side, providing secure and reliable attachment.

Available in 4” size only, API Vapour Couplers are constructed from anodised aluminium with brass locking cams for durability. Weighing 3.8 kg, it operates reliably in temperatures from -40°C to 65°C and is easy to maintain, making it ideal for frequent hydrocarbon vapour loading applications.
