The Stats behind the year so far:
In the first section of our review, we’ll delve into the impressive statistics that have defined the first six months of 2024 for EWFM. Year on year, enquiries have surged, keeping our sales team busier than ever. In fact, we’ve seen a remarkable 10% increase in enquiries compared to the same period in 2023.But it’s not just enquiries that are on the rise—sales have experienced phenomenal growth as well. With a staggering 40% increase in sales totals over last year, the first half of 2024 has been nothing short of record-breaking. To put it into perspective, our sales figures for the first six months are over four times what they were five years ago. This incredible progress is a testament to how far the company has come and the dedication and hard work of our entire team.
Key highlights of the first six months:
- Marine Loading Arms Take Centre Stage: At the start of the year, we proudly expanded our product range by introducing Marine Loading Arms and accompanying services, further enhancing our commitment to delivering comprehensive fluid transfer solutions.
- Triumphant Showing at StocExpo: Our visit to StocExpo was a resounding success, highlighted by both Guy and Ben receiving the prestigious 40 Under 40 award, underscoring their outstanding contributions to the industry and our continued growth.
- ChemUK Debut: A Standout Success: Our debut at ChemUK was also a great success, drawing a steady stream of visitors to our stand and showcasing our innovative solutions to a captivated audience.
- Welcoming a New Talent to Our Team: Tom has seamlessly integrated into the EWFM team as a Sales Executive, quickly proving himself to be a valuable asset and fitting right in with his proactive approach and positive impact on our sales efforts.
- 20″ Swivel Joints Earn Prestigious ABS Design Approval: No need for the continual costly Design Reviews on our 20” Swivels. After investment, our 20” Swivel Design is now ABS approved for the next 5 years.
Project highlights from first six months:
- Delivered 4 x 36” Swivel Joints to a leading multinational steel fabricator in the United Arab Emirates.
- Supplied 4 x 4” Loading Arms, 3 x 8” Floating Suction Units, and 4 x Manual Folding Step Units to an airbase in Cyprus, home to the renowned Red Arrows during the Winter.
- Provided a complete set of LPG Loading Stations for a UK-based customer.
- Shipped 6 x LNG 2.5” Hose Loading Stations, complete with Couplings, Breakaways, and Hose, to Ukraine.
- Delivered 9 x Rollover Pallet Gates for a major company in the food industry.
As we move into the second half of 2024, the momentum hasn’t slowed for our team. With enquiries and exciting projects already and more on the horizon, the next four months promise to be just as dynamic. Plus, we’re gearing up to exhibit at the Tank Storage Conference and Exhibition in late September—a must-see event you won’t want to miss!
