Sony’s Spider-Man Universe:
The Sony Spider-Man Universe is now one of the biggest cinematic worlds, evolving from Tom Holland’s standalone Spider-Man films into a bold exploration of villains and anti-heroes. It all began in 2018 with Venom, a groundbreaking move to focus on the origin stories of iconic Spider-Man characters outside the main hero. The Venom trilogy concluded earlier this year, paving the way for other spin-offs like Morbius and Madame Web. Today, another legendary character steps into the spotlight with the release of Kraven the Hunter.
Kraven the Hunter:
If you hadn’t guessed it already, Kraven the Hunter is the film where our Multiport Rotary Unions played a supporting role. This action-packed movie spotlights one of Marvel’s most iconic villains, Kraven. With superhuman strength, speed, and reflexes, Kraven is a legendary big-game hunter, determined to defeat Spider-Man to cement himself as the world’s greatest predator. The Multiport of Madness:
At the time of the enquiry from the film studio, the film’s title was kept confidential due to legal considerations. The studio approached EWFM seeking a rotary union joint with 6 x 0.75” ports and a 1” through bore, which would be used intensively for a short period.
Thanks to the availability of our specific Multiport at the time, we were able to meet their exact requirements and deliver the product within just two weeks of the enquiry.
Our Multiport Rotary Unions provide a reliable fixed input to rotating output connection. Designed to accommodate multiple flows across a common rotational axis, these unions are ideal for systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, water, cables, and vacuums.
