The Primary Mini Shoe Seal (MSH) is specially designed to be used with floating internal roofs where the rim space is small. This seal has the same high quality of durability and sealing ability to the vapours as the primary mechanical scissor shoe seal, but is designed to work in narrow spaces between the wall of the tank and the floating roof. The innovative feature of this seal is the suspended mounting of the mini shoe, which is assembled to the side wall of the roof. This type of seal is adaptable to spaces as small as 2″, maintaining its sealing capacity.
Made of low-weight galvanized steel or stainless steel, the min-shoe seal combines superior resistance with corrosion prevention. Each Shoe Seal is designed for a specific application in the tank and is engineered for quick installation in the field. With a wide range of metallic and non-metallic materials, the primary seal Mini Shoe is resistant to virtually all products stored in tanks with floating roof.
