Hose Assemblies

EWFM supply hose assemblies for loading arm applications and aircraft refuelling.

Standards

The standard EN1361-2004 has been replaced with EN ISO 1825-2011.

This standard covers rubber hoses and hose assemblies for aircraft ground fuelling and defuelling.

This also applies vehicle/rail car loading and discharge where excessive vacuum does nor occur.

The standard covers use with petroleum fuels having an aromatic content not exceeding 30% by volume. For aromatic content exceeding this please contact the sales department.

Hose meeting this standard can be used within a temperature range -30 C to +65C. This increases when stored in a static condition to -40C to +70C

Lastly, the maximum working pressure including pressure surges is limited to 20 bar (2.0 MPa). For pressures outside this please contact the sales department.

Manufacture

The hose is smooth bore hence increasing efficiency.

Markings are available showing factory cure date, the grade and standard numbers, the NATO Stock Number (if required) and the manufacturer.

Furthermore, the hose assemblies can be marked with chevrons for higher visibility as a safety feature.
