This style of Arm gives the greatest reach of all top loading arms and consists of an unsupported boom assembly for applications where there is no existing steel work for support. The increased load is carried on a Heavy Duty Swivel Joint. The horizontal boom assembly gives a wide range of operation on both vertical and horizontal planes. This allows many of the trucks compartments to be loaded without moving the vehicle. There are three styles of unsupported long reach arm available to suit differing loading rack conditions, Models 2239-UA and 2239-UB having horizontal boom arms and Model 2336 with offset rising boom arm for increased height.
